Through leadership coaching and systemic team coaching, I provide a space for reflection, fresh perspectives and thoughtful challenge. About me
I’m an experienced leadership coach, systemic team coach and supervisor of coaches, with more than 25 years of leadership experience in education, including as the headteacher of a large 11–18 comprehensive school.
I understand the realities of leadership: the responsibility, the complexity, the difficult decisions and the constant demands on your time and energy. I also know the difference that purposeful leadership, strong relationships and a commitment to learning can make to individuals, teams and the organisations they serve.
My work brings together professional coaching expertise, practical leadership experience and a belief in the potential of people to learn, grow and create meaningful change. I work with individual leaders to develop self-awareness, explore new perspectives and strengthen their leadership practice. Through systemic team coaching, I help teams deepen their understanding of how they work together, build trust, challenge their thinking and create the conditions for collective growth and sustainable success.
I believe that learning is fundamental to effective leadership and that sustained performance depends on our willingness to reflect, adapt and continue to grow. My approach combines support with thoughtful challenge, creating space for honest conversations, fresh thinking and the confidence to turn insight into action.

Systemic Team Coaching
Effective leadership teams do more than bring talented individuals together. They develop a shared purpose, build trusting relationships, embrace healthy challenge and work collectively to achieve what no individual could accomplish alone.
Through systemic team coaching, I work alongside leadership teams to strengthen their connections, explore how they work together and align their efforts around a shared purpose. Together, we create the space for honest conversations, fresh perspectives and greater collective responsibility.
By developing a culture of trust, learning and effective collaboration, your team can move beyond individual contributions to create greater value for your organisation and the people it serves. The aim is not simply to become a better team, but to make a lasting difference together.
Supervision
Supervision provides dedicated space to pause, reflect and explore the challenges, relationships and complexities of professional practice. It supports self-awareness, ethical practice, continued learning and the development of greater confidence and effectiveness.
I offer supervision for both practising coaches and leaders in education, drawing on my professional supervision qualifications and extensive experience of leadership and development.
1. Supervision of Coaches
As a qualified and accredited supervisor of coaches, I provide a supportive and appropriately challenging space for coaches to reflect on their practice, explore the dynamics of their coaching relationships and deepen their self-awareness.
Together, we can examine challenging situations, consider ethical dilemmas, recognise patterns and uncover new perspectives. My aim is to support your continued development, strengthen your coaching practice and help you work with greater confidence, insight and impact for the benefit of your clients.

2. Professional Supervision for Leaders in Education
Leadership in education brings significant responsibility, complexity and emotional demands. Professional supervision offers a confidential space away from the day-to-day pressures of school leadership to reflect, think clearly and explore the challenges you face.
Drawing on my experience as a headteacher, my understanding of the education sector and my supervision expertise, I will support you to explore difficult situations, reflect on your leadership relationships, reconnect with your values and consider new ways forward.
The aim is to strengthen your self-awareness, sustain your wellbeing and support you to lead with greater clarity, confidence and purpose, for yourself, your team and your school community.
